Award-winning journalist Don Lemon and Grammy-nominated recording artist Jay “Jeezy” Jenkins are bringing their perspectives on resilience, reinvention, and influence to audiences nationwide through a new special, “Legend of the Snowman: Against All Odds.”
The premium event features an extended conversation between Lemon and Jenkins, whose careers have spanned media, music, business, and culture. The special is scheduled for release Friday at 3 p.m. ET on Jeezy’s official YouTube channel.
Billed as more than a traditional interview, “Against All Odds” explores topics including identity, personal growth, leadership, entrepreneurship, and navigating public scrutiny. The discussion centers on how both men have evolved throughout their careers while maintaining their individual voices and influence.
“This is one of those conversations,” Jenkins said. “Some conversations just entertain. Others challenge perspectives and create cultural impact.”
The special follows a series of advance screenings held for invited guests in New York and Atlanta. Organizers said audience members responded positively to the discussion, citing its focus on candid dialogue and shared experiences across industries.
Throughout the conversation, Lemon and Jenkins reflect on lessons learned from their respective careers and discuss the challenges of adapting to change while remaining committed to personal and professional goals.
“Jeezy and I have had success and we come from very different backgrounds, but our worlds aren’t that different,” Lemon said. “The struggles are similar, and the way you get there is the same: you have to believe in yourself, stay relentless, be willing to change, and use the setbacks and the criticism as motivation.”
Jenkins, who has expanded his career beyond music into business ventures and authorship, said his work increasingly focuses on creating opportunities for connection and growth.

The special serves as an extension of Jeezy’s “Legend of the Snowman” residency at PH Live inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. The residency has prompted the addition of 11 new dates following strong demand, according to organizers.
Remaining performances are scheduled through August and include dates in June, July, and August.
