Dreka Gates Launches Emotional Wellness-Focused Eyewear Line, Dreka Rosé

Fresh off a string of sold-out wellness retreats in Montego Bay, wellness entrepreneur Dreka Gates is expanding into the optical market with a new collaboration alongside Optical Near Me and Fr8qu8ncy.

Gates announced the launch of Dreka Rosé lenses, marking what partners describe as the world’s first celebrity-branded emotional well-being lens line. The licensing agreement introduces a new category to the luxury eyewear market, incorporating photochromic and polarized technology in both vision and sun lenses.

“I am excited to provide wellness support for those seeking better eye health and looking good at the same time,” Gates said in a statement.

The lenses are designed to fit most frame types and aim to ease light sensitivity, provide sharper sight, and support overall eye comfort—particularly for individuals who spend extended time in front of screens. The product also claims potential benefits related to mood and visual clarity in low-light conditions.

Unlike mass-produced eyewear, Dreka Rosé lenses are manufactured through a network of independent, U.S.-based labs. The production model prioritizes optician-grade craftsmanship and regional sourcing, according to the companies.

Charlene Nichols, founder of Optical Near Me, said the partnership aligns with the organization’s mission of empowering independent optometrists and increasing access to affordable, high-quality eyewear.

“Lenses open the world and together, with Dreka, we’re helping people see and be seen,” Nichols said.

Marketed under the theme “Optical Performance with Purpose,” the lenses feature several key attributes:

  • Polarized Protection to reduce glare from reflective surfaces
  • Photochromic Adaptation through Transitions® technology
  • Blue Light Filtering for digital eye strain
  • Full UV Coverage against UVA and UVB rays

Dreka Rosé lenses will be available through Optical Near Me wholesale channels, select partnerships, and direct-to-consumer via Fr8q.com.

“These lenses go beyond traditional vision correction, incorporating advancements in cognitive wellness and emotional perception,” said Emery Morrison, founder of Fr8qu8ncy.

With this launch, Gates continues to expand her wellness brand by blending fashion, function, and emotional support, aiming to redefine how eyewear contributes to holistic health.
