You have established yourself as highly influential personal manager. Can you explain to our readership what you do for your clients?
As the manager for my clients, I establish relationships with vendors, venues, and outside agencies that can help to establish my client’s position in their art. Whether it’s acting, modeling, musicians, or other performing artists. Depending on where my clients are along their journey when I am established as manager, the goal is to take the client to the next level. We established the brand, demographic, and market in an effort to build a following, and create a lane in the client’s industry.

Who are some of the brands you currently represent?
I currently represent Cassandra Shade, Moonlit Events, Emmary Re’, Samone Money, Matteo Hale, and Tiffs Bass. A few interested clients that will soon be joining the tribe, and quite a few of interests I hope to obtain as clients.

How did your career as a personal manager begin?
My career began at home, with my children, a momager so to speak. When approached by friends to manage them, at first, I was a bit taken back, yet flattered that they were willing to put that much trust in me.

A lot of people choose inexperienced family members and friends. Why is it so important to be selective as far as who choose to manage you?
The choice to accept this role was very personal. Choosing a person to manage your career, and art is something that shouldn’t be taken lightly. To have someone that not only believes in you, but that will always serve in your best interest are major factors in choosing a manager. Then there’s the obvious like trust, not just in judgment and character but trust in their ability in making authoritative decisions based on the client’s best interest and highest good. Therefore, having friends or family makes sense in most cases.

Are there any specific qualities you look for when taking on clients?
When taking on newer clients, I am looking for the content of a person’s character, talent of course, and what drives the individual. There’s always, of course, the ‘it’ factor. Some just have it as we’ve all heard especially in the entertainment industry.

Have you ever had part ways with someone you represented?
I have not yet had to part ways with anyone but I have, however, chosen not to represent a few prospective clients.

Friendship is a delicate thing in this industry. How do you balance friendship and business?
One thing I can share about myself is, I’ve not ever been one to have many friends. I have a tribe. We are more family than anything, so with that said the balance to keep the lines clear is just that. This is a family. Virtues such as loyalty, honesty, and love are all without condition. I am working for the betterment of us all.

With 2022 rapidly approaching, what are your plans for the new year?
2022, Is all about applying the lessons learned. I guess the word for 2022 is, execution! The plan is to to get more done, accomplish milestones set forth for each individual talent managed by Inspired Ascension. Look forward to what’s to come, walking into next year inspired, ready, able and willing to ascend.
