Canadian R&B artist K Forte is stepping into a new phase of his career with “Put You On,” a feel-good single that blends guitar-driven production, melody, and a focus on connection.
Released Oct. 2 through Supaleague Records and distributed by Amplitude, the track marks K Forte’s first radio single and offers listeners a preview of his forthcoming album.
Built around the question, “Can I put you on a vibe?” the song explores the excitement of meeting someone and wanting to see where the connection may lead. Guitar, melodic vocals, and an R&B groove drive the track as K Forte centers the lyrics on chemistry between two people.
For the Ottawa artist, “Put You On” has been in the making for years. He wrote the song earlier in his career, and it went through several versions before reaching its final form.
“While recording ‘Put You On,’ I kept thinking about the journey it took just to get here—recording my first radio single and getting closer to finishing the album,” K. Forte said.
The release also represents another step in a career that began with performances during his teenage years. Since then, K Forte has developed his sound through songwriting, live performances, and experimentation with different musical styles.
Now signed to Supaleague Records, he is placing contemporary R&B, melody, and storytelling at the center of his next body of work.
“This song always makes me happy when I hear it. The energy, the guitar, and the lyrics just have this feel-good vibe that sticks with you,” he said.
“Put You On” is available now on major digital streaming platforms.
