Well, Hotties, look who decided to reappear.
Megan Thee Stallion is bringing Tina Snow back, and if you’ve been waiting for that particular brand of Megan to make a comeback, consider this your warning.
Megan first teased her return on August 11, posting a series of photos with “ACT: III” written across her back before revealing the words “I’M BACK” in the final slide. A day later, she provided clarity during her appearance on IMO with Michelle Obama and Craig Robinson, confirming that Tina Snow will receive a “proper reintroduction” on the upcoming project.
For anyone who came into the Hotties fandom a little later, Tina Snow is the alter ego Megan introduced with her 2018 EP of the same name. She represented a colder, harder, and unapologetic side of the Houston rapper, giving us tracks like “Big Ole Freak” and helping establish the confidence that would become synonymous with Megan’s brand.
But don’t expect a carbon copy of 2018. Megan made that pretty clear when she said, “Tina is grown now, babe. She has been through lots of life since y’all heard from her last.” That’s exactly what makes this return so intriguing. The Tina Snow we’re getting this time around comes with years of lessons, experiences, and growth that her younger self simply hadn’t lived through yet.
As the kids on Grown-ish would say, we’re entering a new chapter.
Megan also teased collaborations she’s been wanting to give the Hotties, including some she says will “shock the people” and “really gag the lives.” She even said ACT III could become one of her favorite projects yet, adding that she took her time with it and approached the creative process more calmly.
Welcome back, Ms. Snow. It’s been a minute.
Watch out, world. Tina Snow is grown now, and she’s got something to say.
