Model Liris Crosse Interviews Fashion Expert Tim Gunn

Plus size supermodel, Liris Crosse launches the premiere season of “The Liris Lounge” podcast with a provocative and emotional interview with fashion expert and television personality, Tim Gunn.

The former host and designer mentor of Project Runway opens up fully in the two-part interview, giving listeners true insight into his personal life and his passion for fashion and design.

One year after Project Runway’s groundbreaking season 16, Liris gets Mr. “Make It Work” to dish about some of the behind the scenes drama.

In part one, Gunn warns future designers of the one characteristic guaranteed to disappoint them in the industry, reveals who he would have chosen to win the grand prize and shares the moment that Liris changed his perspective on plus modeling.

In part two, the interview goes from gossip and insight to deep, jaw-dropping revelations about Gunn’s dating life, his feud with Anna Winter, the battle to forgive himself and his mother and the day he thought about taking his father’s life.

Throughout the podcast, Liris and Gunn exchange laughs and tears about their innermost struggles and the devastating and surreal life experiences they share.

Like Liris, for years, Gunn has been a strong advocate for model diversity in the fashion industry. Their dedication to obtain access and inclusion can be felt in their banter, as well as strong criticism and pride when discussing the barriers and advancements of plus size modeling and clothing. Gunn even agrees to write the foreword to Liris’ book, “Make the World Your Runway,” which will be released December 2018.

“The Liris Lounge” podcast is available for streaming Thursday, November 15, 2018 on SoundCloud and iTunes, via the Cewebity channel.

This episode is sponsored by bridal retailer, Maggie Sottero, where gowns are “inspired by each bride’s grace and personality.” Liris is their current campaign model.
