The Oprah Winfrey Network will premiere the second season of its docuseries Heart & Hustle: Houston on May 30, bringing viewers back into the lives of a group of Black women navigating relationships, business pursuits, and shifting friendships in Houston.
The series will debut at 9 p.m. ET/PT before moving to its regular 8 p.m. slot starting June 20.
The new season follows returning cast members Chloe Cooke, La’Torria Lemon, LeBrina Jackson, Muneera Page, Roe Grady-Pichardo and Alaina Saulsberry as they confront the aftermath of a major falling-out that has fractured the group. Once unified, the women now find themselves split into opposing sides, testing loyalties and long-standing bonds.
Producers say the season centers on efforts to repair friendships while new conflicts emerge, raising questions about whether the group’s connection can withstand continued strain.
Each cast member faces personal and professional challenges alongside the group dynamic.
Cooke’s relationship with her boyfriend, Jordan, moves toward a possible engagement, though concerns about his past and scrutiny from her family complicate the path forward. At the same time, she revisits her career in event planning, weighing whether it still aligns with her goals.
Lemon, a public relations executive, continues to lead her firm while coping with the death of her father. Her involvement in planning Cooke’s proposal places her in a sensitive position amid ongoing tensions within the group.
Jackson, who owns a spa business, confronts a shift in how she is perceived by others. Once regarded as a central support figure, she now faces criticism from within the circle.
Page, a content creator balancing family life and business partnerships, works to address strains in her marriage. Her storyline explores the impact of family history on her emotional outlook as she seeks change.
Grady-Pichardo, a restaurateur and hospitality figure, navigates co-parenting challenges as her former partner returns to Houston. Their renewed contact brings unresolved issues back into focus.
Saulsberry, founder of a beauty brand, deals with a separation from her husband and an impending divorce. Her story tracks efforts to move forward while addressing past conflict.
The series continues to focus on entrepreneurship and personal development set against the backdrop of Houston’s business and social scene.
Season two of “Heart & Hustle: Houston” will air Saturdays on OWN.
