Pilates + Luxury Event Celebrates Strength, Community, Survivorship, and Breast Cancer Awareness

The luxury cars never moved Saturday morning. The women around them did.

About 30 women dressed in shades of pink gathered Oct. 17 inside the Fletcher Jones Imports showroom on West Sahara Avenue for Pilates + Luxury: The Pink Edit, an invitation-only wellness experience presented by MLWPR and Six8teen Media in partnership with Fletcher Jones Imports in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event combined movement, connection, and reflection while celebrating breast cancer survivors and honoring women whose lives have been lost to the disease.

Formation Haus Pilates led guests through a Pilates session surrounded by luxury vehicles, pink installations, and music curated by DJ Kelly J. Rather than taking the form of a traditional breast cancer awareness event, The Pink Edit placed wellness and community at the center of the morning.

“We wanted a morning where women could take a breath, move their bodies and meet someone new,” said Ashley Jones, owner of Six8teen Media. “And we wanted to do it in a way that honored what this month means.”

For MLWPR founder Monique Webber, a breast cancer survivor, the gathering also carried personal significance.

“As a breast cancer survivor, creating a morning that celebrated other survivors and honored those we’ve lost was extremely important to me,” Webber said. “We’re beyond grateful for our partners and every woman who showed up.”

Following the Pilates session, guests gathered for coffee and pastries from Leone Cafe and a grazing spread prepared by Board & Graze. Pretty Petal Flower Shop provided floral arrangements, Balloons by Rachel created balloon installations, and guests captured moments from the event through a Glam Cam photo experience.

Fabletics served as title sponsor, supporting the event’s focus on wellness, community, and breast cancer awareness.

Attendees also received gift bags featuring products from Donna’s Recipe, Tab & Chance, Huzzy Smart Sips, Pear Nova, Baudie, Sunny Isle JBCO, Epifany True, Shea Radiance, Rogers Pearson, Realsy, bareMinerals, and Laura Mercier.

For organizers, The Pink Edit was designed to extend beyond a morning workout. The gathering showed how partnerships among local businesses, wellness organizations, and consumer brands can create opportunities for conversations about women’s health while recognizing the women and families affected by breast cancer.
