black ink crew season 8 premiere

On Wednesday night, fans and celebrities came out to celebrate the eighth season premiere of Black Ink Crew with host Young Bae.

The event was held at the Sugar Factory in the Meatpacking district of NYC.

Amongst the city’s socialites and influencers, some of Young Bae’s cast mates were in attendance including Caesar, Donna, Alex and Tati.

When asked about living their lives out publicly, Young Bae said “It’s crazy because everybody thinks they know you, but they really don’t because you only get to see a little piece of us on TV.”

Tati, on the other hand, expressed that being in the public eye made her “very single.”

Guests were led downstairs into a small intimate room with tables set, the dim lights and its laid-back ambience set the tone for the night. While waiting for the show to begin, everyone enjoyed the DJ’s set and turned up at their tables.

Young Bae made her way through the room as she wore a 2one2 Apparel bra belt from her clothing collection. Along with being a mother and running a clothing line, she’s also owned a tattoo shop called Diamond Tattoos for the last ten years.

“It has been hard to be a mother and business owner but you learn how to make it work.”

The warm and cozy setting allowed for attendees to watch with the cast and hear their live commentary and thoughts throughout the show.

The Black Ink brand and cast members have come a long way since season one in 2013. When asked how the industry has helped their growth, Tati said she had “been challenged in ways I’ve never thought imaginable, growth comes with that.” Bae agreed with her and said “yes, a lot of growth.”

In the eighth season of Black Ink Crew, viewers will see Caesar make changes within his staff for the sake of his flagship shop. With everyone’s careers possibly in the balances, we will see how the crew adapts to these changes along with the dealing with their individual personal lives.
