In a recent post on Instagram, Wyld wrote, “@timbaland mad again yall… is it because the gatekeeper era in music is over? or because I ignored your DM? Could be anywhere in the world—here you are…”
Fans and music enthusiasts quickly reacted to the announcement, which featured a celebratory video for her single “Hold On” that had already received more than a million views, sparking speculation about the ongoing feud.
Rian Wyld appears to reference a series of comments the famed producer left recently under one of her recent posts and an Instagram story, claiming the hip-hop/soul artist’s music only garnered attention because of her public dispute with him.
The conflict began months ago after Timbaland publicly criticized Wyld’s artistry on social media, leading to her sweltering diss record “Comments” going viral. Neither Timbaland nor his representatives have issued a response to the independent artist’s latest post as of Thursday.
