The “Scoot Zeros” has a cool ring to it.
Joining the Puma family, NBA rookie, Scoot Henderson, now officially has his signature sneaker. Henderson joins players like Michael Jordan, Lebron James, Allen Iverson, and Shaq, who all inked sneaker deals in their first year in the NBA. If you’ve been following Henderson’s journey as a young basketball player, you’ll grow to appreciate how he’s made his NBA dreams come true – through an unconventional route.
At the age of 17, Henderson signed with G League Ignite; making him the youngest player in G League history to do so. Building his name and solidifying his game, Henderson would eventually enter the 2023 NBA Draft – where he was selected third overall! His story is truly an inspiring one and we can see why Puma was quick to reach out with an amazing opportunity.
Sharing his mantra, “O.D.D. Overly Determined to Dominate,” Puma drew inspiration from this when designing the “Scoot Zeros.” The sneaker is equipped with proprietary Puma technology, like the Profoam EVA, a reinforced Formstrip, and colorway that reflects Henderson’s home state of Georgia.
