The Stage is Set for the 2023 WNBA Finals

The Las Vegas Aces and New York Liberty have been trending all season long. And while the Connecticut Sun, led by Alyssa Thomas, was hoping to make a return to the Finals, Breanna Stewart and the Liberty had other plans – winning a pivotal Game 4 at Mohegan Sun Arena and securing a Finals spot.

As the defending champions, the Aces are looking for a back-to-back Finals win. They rolled through the regular season with ease and set a new WNBA record with 34 regular season wins. They have, of course, secured the No. 1 seed in the Playoffs.

Out on the East Coast, the Liberty are looking to win their first championship. The last time the franchise was even in the Finals was in 2002! It’s been a long time coming, but the relentless revamping of the Liberty roster has finally brought two MVPs, and a deep line-up that earned them a 32-8 regular season record.

We’re now all waiting to see which WNBA superteam will come out on top.
