VIZION Presents is loading up the fall and winter calendar with a multi-city comedy series featuring Brian Hooks, Omar Gooding, Kleon, Joey B, Mike Shawn, and Jakeel McClary.
The “Bringing Those Feel Good Laughs” series will run from September through December, with stops in New Jersey, Louisiana, and New York.
The schedule opens today, Friday, Sept. 25, at The Academy in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where Hooks will be joined by Joey B and Mike Shawn. Hooks returns to the stage the following night for a solo headlining show at 609 Elite Social Club in Willingboro, New Jersey.
VIZION Presents heads to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, on Friday, Oct. 9, for a show at Silly Rabbit Comedy Club featuring Kleon and Jakeel McClary.
The series shifts its focus to Omar Gooding in November as the actor and comedian launches his “This Is 50 Tour,” marking 40 years in the entertainment industry.
Gooding will perform Saturday, Nov. 14, at Silly Rabbit Comedy Club before taking the tour to the New York metropolitan area in December.
His East Coast dates include a Saturday, Dec. 5, appearance at Dream Upscale Lounge in Linden, New Jersey, followed by a Sunday, Dec. 6, show at Rodney’s Comedy Club in New York City. Additional tour dates are expected to be announced.
Ticket prices range from $25 to $40 for several of the announced performances, with Gooding’s November and December shows starting at $30. The Sept. 25 show includes a buffet with admission.
With a mix of established names and rising performers, VIZION Presents is positioning the series as a destination for audiences looking for live comedy throughout the final months of the year.
