The world’s largest HIV/AIDS service organization, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), and entertainer Todrick Hall have teamed up to lead the 19th Annual Florida AIDS Walk & Music Festival. This event draws over 2,000 participants and aims to generate $2 million for 13 local nonprofit organizations that provide vital HIV/AIDS services in South Florida. This is a commendable effort to raise awareness and funds for a noble cause.

Hall, renowned for his diverse talents, gained national recognition as an American Idol contestant. His journey extended to acclaimed Broadway performances, notably in Kinky Boots and Chicago. Collaborations with icons like Taylor Swift, RuPaul, and Beyonce, alongside hit solo albums such as Straight Outta Oz, Forbidden, and Femuline, underscore his artistic versatility.

Tracy Jones, AHF Southern Bureau Chief, remarked, “Todrick Hall has been an advocate for so many within the LGBTQIA+ community and will be an amazing spokesperson in helping both to raise funds for our beneficiaries as well as raise awareness of the devastating impact of HIV/AIDS on the South Florida community.”

The Florida AIDS Walk and Music Festival offers more than entertainment, featuring informational booths on health and wellness services, children’s games, food trucks, and family-focused activities. Singer/songwriter and international DJ/producer DJ Citizen Jane will set the mood before the 5k walk and concert. With iHeartRadio as the official radio partner, the event will be hosted by iHeartRadio personality Kimmy B.
