Stacey Muhammad Covers Urban Magazine’s Women’s Issue

In celebration of Women’s History Month, Urban Magazine recognized the critically acclaimed director and filmmaker Stacey Muhammad, known for her work on popular series such as Cross, Power Book II: Ghost, Harlem, and Queen Sugar.

“I have been a fan of Stacey’s work for the longest time. Her visual storytelling sets her apart from her peers as she has a style that is all her own,” explains Urban Magazine’s publisher Be’n Original.

The lineup also features the emerging R&B sensation Honey Bxby, and a segment dedicated to celebrating ten accomplished Black women professionals who deserve recognition.

Among those highlighted are public relations executives Toni Harrison, Tonya McKenzie, Syreta Oglesby, and Brandi Sims; writer Michelle Annaleise Coles; entrepreneurs Brandi H. Munden, Daijonia Hopson, and Candace Dixon Ford; television producer Sia Savvy; and Sakima McClinton, the first Black woman from New York to graduate from West Point.
