“This was one of our most special brunches yet — I’m so full,” remarked Trell Thomas. “To partner with L’Oréal, a brand that has long celebrated the beauty and power of Black women, during Essence Fest, surrounded by legacy builders and culture shapers, was powerful. These women aren’t just successful — they’re symbols of grace, resilience, and impact.”

This gathering underscores the Black Excellence Brunch’s mission to celebrate Black legacy and leadership within intentional and community-driven spaces, making it a significant highlight during the bustling Essence Festival weekend in New Orleans.
