HUE Affair 2025, led by Sabrina Boissière and Ylorie Taylor, concluded its two-day exposition at the Metropolitan Pavilion on Aug. 2–3, welcoming a vibrant mix of entrepreneurs, consumers, and culture shapers for an immersive experience rooted in beauty, commerce, and community. Presented by CVS Pharmacy and powered by MYAVANA technology, this event offered attendees an opportunity to shop, explore, and connect with Black-owned beauty and lifestyle brands.
With more than 50 vendors from across the United States, the event showcased a dynamic marketplace of Black-owned and multicultural brands. Participating companies included Pardon My Fro, Palmer’s, Metroplus Health, ORS, KISS, Camille Rose, Palmers, and Hawaiian Silky, among others.
Interactive brand activations, live music, beauty consultations, and curated swag bags rounded out the experience, drawing in hundreds of guests across the weekend.

“Walking into the HUE Affair immediately awakens your senses on all levels,” said Qiana the Goddess of VPR Radio. “The richness of our diversity and multicultural roots is highlighted and celebrated, and you can feel the warmth radiating from everyone in the room. Whether vendor or attendee, Black excellence was served on a platter. I applaud such a well-rounded and flawlessly executed event.”
Attendees captured photo-ready moments at immersive installations and explored new products across haircare, skincare, and lifestyle, with several brands debuting exclusive offerings.
HUE’s continued mission—to amplify the voices of small and Black-owned businesses while cycling dollars back into marginalized communities—remains central to its growth and impact.
