New York Knicks Win Emirates NBA Cup in Las Vegas

The New York Knicks claimed the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup championship Tuesday, rallying to a 124-113 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in the title game at T-Mobile Arena. The Knicks overcame an 11-point deficit in the second half and dominated the fourth quarter to secure the trophy.

OG Anunoby led New York with 28 points, including five three-pointers, and point guard Jalen Brunson added 25 points and eight assists en route to being named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player. Karl-Anthony Towns contributed 16 points and 11 rebounds despite dealing with a calf issue.

The Knicks outscored San Antonio 35-19 in the fourth quarter after trailing late in the third, pulling away down the stretch to claim their first Emirates NBA Cup title.

Victor Wembanyama scored 18 points for the Spurs, and Dylan Harper led San Antonio with 21 points, but the Spurs were unable to counter New York’s late surge.

The Emirates NBA Cup is the NBA’s in-season tournament, with participating teams competing through group play and knockout rounds before advancing to semifinals and the championship game in Las Vegas. The Knicks’ victory marks their first NBA Cup title in franchise history.

Knicks coach Mike Brown said the win could boost the team’s confidence as it pursues deeper postseason success. The championship adds a new trophy to New York’s case and gives the Knicks midseason momentum headed into the regular schedule.
