Apple TV Unveils Trailer For Season Two Of “Criminal Record”

Apple TV has released the trailer for the second season of “Criminal Record,” setting the stage for the return of the crime thriller on April 22, 2026. The eight-episode season will launch with its first installment on premiere day, followed by weekly releases through June 10.

The series stars Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, who reprise their roles as Detective Chief Inspector Daniel Hegarty and Detective Sergeant June Lenker.

The new season centers on a deadly stabbing at a political rally, drawing the two officers into a tense partnership. What begins as a murder investigation evolves into a covert effort to stop a far-right bomb plot in central London.

Created by Paul Rutman, the drama continues to explore policing in a modern landscape where truth is contested and motives remain unclear. The story builds on the dynamic between Lenker and Hegarty, placing them in a high-stakes operation that tests trust and authority.

Season two expands its cast with Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marshal, and Peter Sullivan. Returning cast members include Shaun Dooley, Stephen Campbell Moore, and Charlie Creed-Miles.

“Criminal Record” will stream on Apple TV beginning April 22.
