Reality television breakout and emerging recording artist Huda Mustafa has released her debut pop single and music video, “Bad Girls,” through Gamma, marking her official entry into music after rising to prominence on “Love Island USA.”
Produced by ayetm and Test, “Bad Girls” is positioned as an anthem centered on confidence, independence, and self-expression. The song pairs upbeat production with lyrics focused on rejecting outside criticism and embracing individuality.
The accompanying music video, directed by Edgar Esteves and Anastasia Delmark, introduces viewers to “Huda HQ,” a virtual reality-inspired corporate setting where Mustafa acts as the chief executive of a fictional fan-led company. Surrounded by a cast of “office baddies,” the video presents a stylized workplace environment designed around empowerment and performance.
“Creating ‘Bad Girls’ felt like me fully stepping into myself and owning who I am without fear or outside opinions,” Mustafa said in a statement. “I wanted this record to feel confident, fun, powerful, and addictive — the kind of song that makes girls feel fearless the second it comes on.”
Before gaining national attention on reality television, Mustafa studied theater and performed in choir programs, experiences she has said helped shape her interest in music and performance arts.
Mustafa first rose to prominence during Season 7 of Love Island USA, which became the franchise’s most-watched season on Peacock. The season generated more than 18.4 billion streaming minutes and fueled widespread online discussion, helping establish Mustafa as one of the show’s most recognizable personalities.
As she expands into music, Mustafa has collaborated with producer ATL Jacob and creatives connected to rapper Future as she develops upcoming material and refines her sound.
“Bad Girls” is now available on major streaming platforms.
