Lucky Daye Launches New Era With Release of “Nowhere Fast”

Multi-GRAMMY Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Lucky Daye is ushering in a new chapter of his career with the release of “Nowhere Fast,” his first single under a newly announced partnership with Warner Records.

Produced by longtime collaborator D’Mile, whose credits include work with H.E.R. and Silk Sonic, the track embraces a stripped-down sound built on basslines, melodies, and understated grooves. The song reflects Lucky Daye’s evolving artistry while emphasizing confidence, patience, and purpose.

Opening with the lyric, “Make ’em wait,” “Nowhere Fast” introduces an era centered on moving with intention rather than chasing constant momentum.

“We live in a world that’s constantly telling us to move faster,” Lucky Daye said. “But sometimes real growth happens when you slow down and move with intention. That’s what ‘Nowhere Fast’ is about—being present, trusting your pace, and not losing sight of what actually matters.”

The single is accompanied by a basketball-inspired music video filmed in Los Angeles. The visual follows Lucky Daye and his team through choreographed sequences that explore rhythm, restraint, and human connection. By blending athletic movement with intimate moments, the video reinforces the song’s central message that progress is not always about moving faster but about moving with purpose.

The release marks the beginning of Lucky Daye’s partnership with Warner Records and signals the start of a new creative direction for the award-winning R&B artist.
