After being arrested in Sweden for an alleged assault that occurred on Tuesday, rapper A$AP Rocky is reportedly being kept in solitary confinement in one of the country’s detention centers.

According to his lawyer, Henrik Olsson Lilja, the Swedish court deemed the rapper a “flight risk,” and insists that he remain put for two more weeks while they investigate.

“He, of course, is very disappointed and this is a catastrophe for his tour. Of course, a world artist like him would come back to Sweden if there is a trial in the summer or fall,” Lilja added. The rapper was scheduled to headline the London Festival, Wireless, on Sunday. He also has upcoming tour dates throughout Europe.

The assault was captured on video and included two members of the rapper’s entourage. The clip, which was published by a Swedish newspaper, showed him picking up a man and throwing him to the ground.

The rapper argues, however, that he and his entourage were being followed. He had posted two videos on Instagram around the time of the brawl, depicting the men following him. One video contains audio of the rapper stating, “we don’t want to fight you,” to the men.

“So a few drug addicts are not my fans. We don’t know these guys and we didn’t want trouble,” he mentioned on the Instagram post.

A$ap Rocky and his lawyer maintain that the rapper was acting in self-defense.
