Goodie Mob member and former The Voice judge Cee Lo Green received the best news this week. The sometime solo artist learned that he won’t be facing rape charges from an alleged drug induced sexual encounter with a 33 year old woman.
However, according to reports, he will be charged that he slipped the woman a “Molly”. If convicted, he faces up to four years in prison.
“Cee Lo had faith that if true facts were known, the district attorney would reject those charges,” Green’s attorney Blair Berk said of the sex assault case. “As it relates to the one charge of furnishing or sharing Ecstasy, Mr. Green will responsibly address that matter in a court of law, but not comment on it further out of respect for the process.”
