British R&B and soul singer-songwriter Daley has released his new album, “Strange Nature,” marking his return with a 10-track project featuring collaborations with Marsha Ambrosius, Robert Glasper, and Keyon Harrold.
Released through SRG-ILS, distributed by Virgin Music Group/UMG, the album explores themes of growth, uncertainty, love, and self-reflection.
“Naming the album ‘Strange Nature’ was an acknowledgment for me that life does not always unfold in ways we can predict, hope, or expect,” Daley said.
The singer explained that the project reflects both the optimism and uncertainty that can come with personal growth.
“Love, beauty, and optimism often existed alongside uncertainty, self-doubt, sadness, and things I couldn’t control,” he said. “The strange isn’t good or bad, it’s equal parts beautiful and ugly.”
Ahead of the album’s release, Daley shared “Headlights,” featuring Marsha Ambrosius. The collaboration helped introduce listeners to the direction of the new project and received support across several streaming platforms.
“Strange Nature” arrives as Daley also returns to the road. The singer recently launched a 27-city U.S. tour in St. Louis in support of the album.
Known for blending soul, R&B, and electronic influences, Daley has built a following through his distinctive vocal style and emotionally driven songwriting.
