Singer-songwriter Rene Bonét is setting the stage for her next musical chapter with the release of her latest single, “I Hope That You’re Ready.”
The track is available on streaming and download platforms through the SRG-ILS label imprint, distributed by Virgin Music/UMG.
“I Hope That You’re Ready” pairs Bonét’s vocals with atmospheric production while drawing from the warmth of R&B and a contemporary sound. Bonét wrote the song, which was produced by Weku Did That.
The record explores the anticipation and vulnerability that can come with taking a romantic relationship to another level.
“It is sensual and intimate all at the same time, the record captures the anticipation, chemistry, and vulnerability of being ready to take a relationship deeper,” Bonét said.
The single also serves as another step toward Bonét’s third studio album, which is expected to arrive in spring 2027. She is putting the finishing touches on the project as she prepares for a national promotional tour supporting both the single and forthcoming album.
Stops are expected to include Atlanta, Washington, Charlotte, North Carolina, and New York, with additional cities anticipated.
With “I Hope That You’re Ready,” Bonét continues building toward her next full-length release while giving listeners an introduction to the direction of the upcoming project.
