Actor/rapper Jaden Smith, known for his activism, has once again given back to the community in a big way.
The son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith launched the vegan “I Love You Restaurant” food truck on Sunday at Skid Row, a part of Los Angeles that is known for having one of the largest populations of homeless people.
The young activist brought a team of people and a couple of food trucks that gave out free food bags to those in the area.
He posted a picture on Instagram with the caption stating, “The I Love You Restaurant is A movement that is all about giving people what they deserve, healthy, vegan food for free. Today we launched our first one-day food truck pop-up in Downtown LA. Keep A look out because this is the first of many.”
Earlier this year, Smith’s “JUST Water” company partnered with a local church in Flint, Michigan to give out clean water to the residents.
Jaden Smith recently released the 17-song album, “ERYS,” the follow up to his 2017 project, “Syre.” He also plans to tour this summer with rapper and good friend, Tyler the Creator.
