Lil Skies Unveils New Video + Announces Nationwide Headline Tour

19-year-old rapper on the rise, Lil Skies unveils today another new video from his critically acclaimed debut mixtape LIFE OF A DARK ROSE (All We Got Ent / Atlantic Records). Watch the video for “Lettuce Sandwich” below and listen to LIFE OF A DARK ROSE HERE.

Directed by Nicholas Jandora, the video for “Lettuce Sandwich” was inspired by movies like Mad Max, Texas Chainsaw Massacre and American Psycho. “We basically wanted it to just have a dark theme to it and keep people questioning what they just saw,” said Lil Skies to XXL, who premiered the dark, edgy new video earlier today.

Along with today’s new video release, Lil Skies also announced his first-ever nationwide headline tour. Dubbed the “Life Of A Dark Rose Tour,” Skies will take his energetic live performance on the road with dates beginning Sunday, March 11th through Tuesday, April 3rd. Venues and on-sale dates will be announced soon at www.lilskiesofficial.com.

Lil Skies recently toured with fellow Pennsylvania native Lil Uzi Vert on his “A VERY UZI CHRISTMAS” tour, which saw Skies performing insanely dynamic sets during two-night stands at both New York City’s Terminal 5 and Boston’s House of Blues. The tour rounded out with an explosive Philadelphia finale show in Skies’ home state. Watch a clip of his live show HERE.

LIFE OF A DARK ROSE quickly entered the Billboard 200 peaking at #10 in its 2nd week with 28,000 sales equivalents and 100M streams to date, a rare feat for a new artist’s debut mixtape. The 14-track collection also soared to #6 on Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Chart, becoming the first set to ascend into the top 10 following its first full tracking week after not debuting there since Chance the Rapper’s Coloring Book.

Lil Skies has been delivering nonstop music the past several months, climbing streaming and sales charts, and turning an underground buzz into global mainstream appeal. LIFE OF A DARK ROSE is highlighted by Skies’ massive lead single “Red Roses” which has been praised by critics and fans alike. The visual for “Red Roses,” which was directed by new-rap impresario Cole Bennett of Lyrical Lemonade, garnered over 2 million views in the first 10 days of its release, and is now at over 34 million views and climbing. At the end of 2017, Lil Skies dropped another new track “Nowadays” feat. Landon Cube, alongside a visual, also shot and directed by Bennett, which has garnered a stunning 35 million views since its release.
