The mother of acclaimed hip-hop producer Metro Boomin was killed in a domestic violence incident on Friday, June 3rd, 2022.
According to reports, Leslie Wayne was murdered by her husband who later fatally shot himself.
His name has yet to be disclosed at press time.
The multiplatinum hit-maker’s representative has requested that members of the media and public respect his privacy.
Leslie Wayne greatly contributed to her son’s success, driving 17 hours on weekends from St. Louis to Atlanta for meetings and studio sessions in the beginning of his career in music.
