Former mayor of New York City, billionaire Michael Bloomberg, raised enough funds to pay the fines of 32,000 Florida convicted felons.

Through his successful fundraising events, Bloomberg was able to collect 16 million dollars to settle debts preventing them from voting in the upcoming election.

In 2018, Florida passed a law reinstating voting rights for felons only if they paid all fines, fees, and restitution owed to the local and state jurisdictions.

Unfortunately for some felons, the fines hindering use of their right to vote commonly cost up to one-thousand dollars.

Previously, Bloomberg was a runner in the Democratic primary for president until his campaign ended late March.

Afterwards, he endorsed Joe Biden and has donated more than 100 million dollars to limit Donald Trump’s presidency to one term.

Through generosity and dedication, Bloomberg is showcasing his support through finances.
