Hot 97’s, Peter Rosenberg, held his 6th “Peterpalooza” this past Thursday at the Knockdown Center in Maspeth, Queens. The concert is the radio personality’s annual birthday celebration that plays host to some of Rosenberg’s favorite new artists. This year, he called on A$AP Ferg and Dave East to headline, along with Jay IDK, Nyck @ Night, as well as, Westside Gunn and Conway. And of course, Hot 97 was in the building heavy, as DJ Enuff, Megan Ryte, Laura Stylez, Ebro, Hip Hop Mike, and more, all showed their love and support for Rosenberg.
The warehouse-like setting at Knockdown Center added to the gritty, New York City vibe that the line-up of New York bred artists boasted. Despite being held on a Thursday night in a part of Queens that’s considered “deep” by natives, the Center was packed! And it definitely got LIT – which might be an understatement.
