Grammy-Award winner singer/songwriter Davion Farris, best known for single “Sometimes” which was featured in the most recent season of Showtime’s The Chi, covers the April issue of Urban Magazine.

Farris, brother of SiR and D Smoke, sat with Urban Magazine’s publisher Be’n Original and writer Lís to discuss his relationship with his famous siblings, his creative process, working with Mary J. Blige, and his recently released song “Bad Guy”.

“Davion is without doubt the best male vocalist to emerge in R&B in recent years. We are honored to be the first magazine to feature him as a cover story,” explains Be’n Original. “I have no doubt that he bring the soulfulness in today’s music.”

Other features include legendary actor Omar Epps, master publicist Syreta J. Oglesby, marketing exec/model Maria Myraine, former NBA star and entrepreneur Alan Henderson, and more.

The issue also includes advice from credit repair expert Arichica Banks, the new buyers guide, along with a larger poetry section.
