Rick Ross and a unidentified female passenger were nearly victims of a drive by shooting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida this morning.
Police have yet to determined a motive the shooting, though the Miami based rapper has received several gang related threats in recent weeks.
The vehicle, a luxurious Rolls Royce, crashed in to a nearby building in an effort escape to escape a barrage of gunfire from another vehicle that had pulled up beside it.
No injuries have been reported despite the police finding several casing near the crime scene.
The Maybach Music CEO and Def Jam recording artist was reportedly” shaken up” during an interview at a local restaurant with law enforcement officials.
