Tasha K appears unrepentant and unapologetic even after losing a multimillion dollar defamation lawsuit to hip-hop superstar Cardi B.
On Wednesday night, the blogger whose real name is Latasha Kebe, seemingly blamed unnamed corporations for her massive loss, not taking responsibility for any of the false statements she made on her platform including at least 38 videos.
“I know ya’ll maybe think this is over, but no, this is just the beginning. I will spend as many years as I can to protect our right to voice our opinions.”
On Monday, a federal court jury found Kebe liable for defamation for making posts accusing the rapper of having herpes among other false statements.
The total amount of money now owed to Cardi B surpasses $4 million dollars including $2.75 million in damages and $1.34 million in fees and expenses.
It should be noted that intentional torts cannot be relieved through bankruptcy.
