Ahead of this year’s midterms, Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah announced the release of election-inspired merchandise. Fans can enjoy “VOTEDEMIC 2022” branded clothing and accessories, including zip-up hoodies, beanies, and water bottles, with proceeds from select charity items donated to HeadCount—a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that aims to promote participation in democracy, especially among young people and first-time voters.
The VOTEDEMIC 2022 product line is inspired by The Daily Show with Trevor Noah’s 2022 midterm coverage. This fall, the Emmy-winning late night comedy series is traveling to the key battleground state of Georgia for the first time and will record shows from the Tabernacle in Downtown Atlanta from October 31st through November 3rd.
Leading up to election night, this will cap off their “VOTEDEMIC 2022” midterm election coverage. The Daily Show has previously covered elections from battleground states including Ohio and Florida. Tickets for the Atlanta shows are available here.
This marks the fifth charitable merchandise line The Daily Show has launched with Paramount Consumer Products including the Monochrome Collection with all proceeds benefiting the Equal Justice Initiative in ending mass incarceration and excessive punishment in the United States and the National Black Arts Festival (NBAF) in providing artistic and educational programs focused exclusively on arts and artists of African descent.
Previously, the show also launched The Daily Show Dogs Collection with all proceeds benefiting Best Friends Animal Society and the If You Don’t Know, Now You Know collection that benefits 826 National, the largest youth writing network in the country serving close to 190,000 students.
In 2020, the show released a festive holiday sweater featuring a real quote from the former First Lady: “Who gives a f#@k about Christmas stuff and decoration?” with 100% of proceeds benefiting United We Dream, the largest immigrant youth-led network in the country. In February of this year, the show also released a wildly popular special-edition mug collection in collaboration with Lolly Lolly Ceramics that sold out minutes after release. The full line of Daily Show merchandise is available HERE.
The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airs weeknights at 11pm ET/PT on Comedy Central.
