Young Thug, Gunna Charged in Gang Related R.I.C.O. Indictment

Young Thug and 27 other people including his artist Gunna have been charged in a sweeping R.I.C.O. indictment for alleged gang related activity.

Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (R.I.C.O.) laws were created for sole purpose taking down members of organizations or groups that continuously engaging in crime. It allows every person in the organization to be possibly charged for crimes conducted be any its members.

According to reports, Thugger and members of his YSL label have been accused of being a part of an ongoing criminal enterprise while participating in a real-life gang war with rival rap crew YFN, which is allegedly ran by fellow rap artist YFN Lucci.

Young Thug is personally facing allegations that he rented a vehicle in 2015 that used in the killing of a man who is widely known for launching YFN Lucci’s music career, Donovan “Big Nut” Thomas Jr.

YFN Lucci was recently charged in January 2021 for the death of James Adams during a shootout. The rapper was indicted for allegedly pushing Adams, who was shot in the head, out of the passenger seat of Lucci’s vehicle onto the street.

It is believed that Adams’ death may have been the result of friendly fire.
