Yung Miami has been added to the lineup for HOT 97’s Summer Jam 2026, joining a roster of hip-hop artists set to perform at the annual concert on Friday at the Prudential Center in Newark, organizers announced.
The addition expands a lineup that organizers say is designed to represent multiple generations of hip-hop, pairing established artists with emerging acts. Summer Jam, now in its fourth decade, has long been known for surprise appearances, collaborations, and performances that have helped shape the genre’s live music tradition.
The event will feature performances across two stages, with programming beginning at 7 p.m. and continuing at 8 p.m.
“Summer Jam continues to be the ultimate celebration of Hip Hop culture and the heartbeat of New York,” Kudjo Sogadzi, executive vice president of content and growth at MediaCo, said in a statement. “This year’s lineup reflects the sound of the moment while honoring the artists and communities that continue to move the culture forward. From legends to the next generation, Summer Jam 2026 is built to create unforgettable moments.”
Hosted by Nessa, the Mornings With Mero team, and DJ Drewski, this year’s show was curated by DJ Funk Flex and Katrina B., assistant program director at HOT 97.
The lineup includes French Montana, Yung Miami, Mariah The Scientist, Ice Spice, and Newark-area native Fetty Wap, who is scheduled to return to his home state for a performance organizers say will be among the night’s highlights.
Other scheduled performers include DaBaby, G Herbo, Natalie Nunn, Cash Cobain, Zeddy Will, Omah Lay, Honey Bxby, Sleepy Hallow, 41 — featuring Kyle Richh, Jenn Carter, Tata, and Dee Billz — Conway The Machine, Stove God Cooks, 38 Spesh, Albee Al, Nems, Kocky Ka, Djany Dior, Ryan Witherspoon, Breannie, JDymonds, Chase Belly, BTB Dezz, Fergie Baby, NTG, King Beamo, and McVertt.
Organizers said additional artists and surprise guests will be announced ahead of the concert.
Summer Jam 2026 is scheduled for Friday, July 24, at the Prudential Center in Newark. Tickets are on sale through HOT 97 and Ticketmaster.
