Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and WHUR 96.3 “Original Quiet Storm” host Raheem DeVaughn is taking his signature sound on the road with the launch of his “20 Lessons of Love Tour,” supported by Gilead Sciences.
The national tour began Oct. 12 in Honolulu and will travel across the United States, with stops in major cities including Oakland, Boston, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, before concluding Jan. 31 in Augusta, Georgia.
Known for his live performances and catalog of R&B hits, DeVaughn said the tour is designed to be more than a concert series — it’s a reflection on the power of love and the lessons it teaches.
“Love is the common thread that unites us all,” DeVaughn said. “With this tour, I want to create a space where people can not only celebrate love but also learn, grow, and heal through it.”
The “20 Lessons of Love Tour” marks the 20th anniversary of DeVaughn’s debut album, The Love Experience. The 2005 release introduced his style and perspective on love through songs such as “Guess Who Loves You More” and “You.” The album established DeVaughn as one of R&B’s leading voices, with a career rooted in creativity and social awareness.
The upcoming shows will honor that milestone, highlighting two decades of music and connection between the artist and his audience.
