It feels great to get good feedback and know that people are enjoying my single.

What is the story behind your smash hit “No Worries”?
No Worries is a song about a girl I was talking to for a while. It was a long-distance relationship and we would try to figure out how we were going to see each other.

Describe the Joe Amo sound to the readers.
My sound is smooth r&b pop. It’s different from what’s out there. I feel that my sound is something new. When people hear my music they know it’s me.

Your often speak on the way your mother influenced your love of R&B, how did she do that for you?
When I was young every time I would hop in the car or be around the house all she would do is play R&B. So, I grew up listening to it and It stuck in my head. I ended up loving R&B as well.

You named Charlie Wilson as one of your musical influences? What is it about his music that drew you to him?
Charlie Wilson is very warm and soulful. I loved him as the lead singer in the Gap Band with songs like “Outstanding”. He is so talented and he has so many hit records. Charlie Wilson is so consistent.

Everyone has a team, who are the people behind your first single?
Marjorie Plummer, known as Auntie Marg is family to me she introduced me to great writers and producers such as Josh X and his team. Josh X wrote ‘No Worries’.
