AT&T Celebrates Black History Month with Dream in Black 28

In celebration of Black History Month, AT&T has launched a new initiative, Dream in Black 28, honoring seven celebrities who made selfless contributions toward the betterment of black culture.

“AT&T’s Dream in Black 28 celebrates the barrier-breaking visionaries who are making history right now by shaping the culture. These distinguished individuals remind us that the only limit to our greatest achievement is our imagination.”

Each week we will release seven (7) future makers from the Dream In Black 28 list and share their stories on http://www.att.com/dreaminblack. At the end of the month, everyone will see all 27 people honored on the inaugural list.

This week’s honorees including Queen Latifah, Devon Franklin, Terrence J, Zendaya, Khalid, Phoebe Robinson, and Van Jones.

“Black History Month, a time when we reflect on the leaders of the past who helped pave the way for Black Excellence today. It’s thanks to these great people throughout history that this generation has more potential to accomplish their dreams than ever before,” Queen Latifah explains.

Th 28th spot is reserved for a consumer changing the future in their community.

You can enter the Dream In Black 28 contest on your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account by posting a still photo or a :30 to :60 second video of yourself that displays how you are currently making history in your community and use the hashtag #DreamInBlack.

The contest will begin on February 1, 2019 and will end on February 28, 2019.The winner will be contacted during the second week in March and a flyaway trip for two (2) to Hollywood, CA to attend one of Black culture’s biggest events in entertainment.
