BET has chosen St. Louis rapper and singer Big Boss Vette as its BET Amplified artist for July. BET Amplified is the endorsement by BET Music for the next promising talent in music. Big Boss Vette started out by sharing freestyle videos on Facebook and uploading remixes on YouTube. Her success has been remarkable, as she even performed on the Pre-Show stage of the prestigious “BET Awards” in 2023. It seems like Big Boss Vette’s journey to fame is far from over.

This incredibly talented hip hop artist gained huge popularity in 2015 when she created her own rendition of Dej Loaf’s song “Try Me,” which quickly became a hit. In 2019, she achieved great success with her song “Bad Bitch,” reaching 1.7 million views on YouTube. She continued her streak with the release of “Outside,” which garnered 8 million streams on Spotify and over 2 million views on YouTube. Due to her impressive accomplishments, it comes as no surprise that Republic Records recognized her talents and signed her in 2021.

In 2021, Big Boss Vette kept up the pace with hard-hitting singles “No Fakin,” “Dog Ass *,” and more. She also just recently announced her new EP Resilience will be dropping soon; and we couldn’t be more excited! You can check out her hit 2022 song “Pretty Girls Walk” here and see exactly why this hip hop success story continues to reach new heights.

Big Boss Vette can now also add BET Amplified Artist to her list of accolades. As a BET Amplified artist, Big Boss Vette will receive BET Music’s support across multiple BET campaigns and platforms, including BET, BET Her, BET Jams, BET Soul, BET.com, BET Socials, and BET’s Official YouTube Page.
