Billy Dee Williams is not gender fluid according to the Star Wars actor despite recent reports stating the otherwise.
The 82-year-old iconic thespian responded to a recent coverage of viral interview with Esquire “I was talking about men getting in touch with the female side of themselves.”
It appears the actor may have made a very common mistake of confusing gender identity with sexual orientation.
He clarified his comments in a recent interview with Kelly L. Carter for The Undefeated, “I was talking about men getting in touch with the female side of themselves. I wasn’t talking about sex, I wasn’t talking about gay or straight. I’m not gay — by any stretch of the imagination. Not that I have anything against gay people. But personally? Not gay.”
While the rumors now rush to fix their earlier reports, we can focus on what matters.
