Actor and comedian Cedric the Entertainer welcomed celebrities from the worlds of sports and entertainment to Camarillo, California, on Monday for the 13th annual Celebrity Golf Classic, a charity tournament benefiting organizations serving young people, families, and women.
The Aug. 3 event, presented by Lexus, was held at Spanish Hills Club and brought together entertainers, professional athletes, sponsors, and supporters for a day of golf and fundraising. Proceeds benefited the Kyles Family Foundation, the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo, and the Rosetta Boyce Kyles Health Pavilion at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis.
The weekend began Sunday with a VIP Pairings Party presented by Lexus at Tarantula Hill Brewing Co. in Thousand Oaks. The following morning, Cedric and his celebrity guests gathered at Spanish Hills Club for the tournament.
“Each year, this event reminds us of what can happen when people come together with a shared commitment to giving back,” Cedric said. “I am deeply grateful to our celebrity participants, sponsors, and supporters for helping us continue this tradition.”
Among the celebrity participants were Anthony Anderson, Byron Scott, Coach Mike Woodson, Christian Okoye, David Justice, Dennis Haysbert, D.L. Hughley, Eric Dickerson, Gary Sheffield, Johnny Gill, Marlon Wayans, Norm Nixon, Ozzie Smith, Smokey Robinson, Sugar Ray Leonard, and Vince Coleman.
The event also featured participants from across entertainment and professional sports, including Dondré Whitfield, Emilio Rivera, Flex Alexander, Galen Gering, Jeffrey Osborne, Kenny Lofton, Michael Irby, Nikki Blades, Roland Martin, and Stephen Bishop.
“The work being done by the Kyles Family Foundation and the Boys & Girls Club of Camarillo is incredibly meaningful,” Cedric said. “It is an honor to support organizations that are making a real difference in people’s lives.”
Lexus served as the presenting sponsor, while IAG and Buzz Oates were platinum sponsors. Additional sponsors included AIDS Healthcare Foundation, Lido Advisors, Aloha Freight, Del Shaw Moonves Tanaka Finkelstein Lezcano Bobb & Dang, Westlake Village Inn, Weintraub Family Foundation, Galway Holdings and Mills Legal.
Now in its 13th year, the Celebrity Golf Classic reflects Cedric’s longstanding philanthropic efforts and his use of his entertainment platform to support nonprofit organizations. The tournament has become an annual gathering point for figures from entertainment, professional sports, and the business community.
The 2026 event was produced by Hammond Entertainment.
