You don’t want no problems – with Chance The Rapper’s bodyguard.
This past Thursday, August 3rd, 44 year old, Star Thomas, was arrested after he allegedly body slammed a man after a second encounter at the W Hotel in Chicago. According to reports, the alleged victim was trying to board the same elevator as Chance and his entourage, but Thomas, the bodyguard, blocked him from entering.
Later in the evening, about two hours later, they ran into the guy again but this time, Thomas took no chances, and body slammed the guy to the floor – right in front of the startled rapper.
Was he not simply doing his job? Apparently not, since Thomas was later booked on misdemeanor “simple battery.” Needless to say, Chance made it on time for his Lollapalooza set.
