Charlamagne tha God and iHeartRadio Mark Five Years of The Black Effect Podcast Network

Charlamagne tha God and iHeartRadio celebrated the fifth anniversary of The Black Effect Podcast Network on Tuesday night, marking five years of amplifying Black voices and stories across podcasting.

The event gathered several of the network’s hosts, including Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon of Reasonably Shady, Will Lucas of Black Tech Green Money, Carlos King of Reality with The King, and Jay Barnett of Just Heal with Dr. Jay. The hosts joined Breakfast Club personality Loren LoRosa for a series of fireside conversations on podcasting’s role in shaping community, culture, and authentic storytelling.

Charlamagne tha God, who co-founded the network with iHeartRadio in 2020, attended the event alongside Bryant, Dixon, and King.

Founded to be the world’s largest podcast platform focused on Black audiences, The Black Effect Podcast Network features creators and personalities who lead conversations across social justice, culture, sports, wellness, and comedy.

The milestone celebration reflected on the network’s growth and offered a look ahead as it continues to “empower the next generation of storytellers and changemakers,” according to organizers.
