Comedian David A. Arnold Passes Away at 54

Yesterday, September 7th, comedian David A. Arnold, best known for comedy specials on Netflix and social media content, passed away at the age of 54.

According to reports, Arnold died peacefully due to natural causes a three stops into his recent national tour.

His family issued a statement confirming his passing, “It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold. David passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time, as we are all shocked and devastated by the loss.”

While Arnold has been a successful writer for multiple comedy series including Meet The Browns, Rickey Smiley Show, Tyler Perry’s House of Payne, and Fuller House, his two critically acclaimed Netflix comedy specials, Fat Ballerina and It Ain’t For The Weak, elevated him to the top tier of comedy.
