According to reports, former member of Three 6 Mafia, Gangsta Boo died Sunday on New Years Day in Memphis, Tennessee home.
Born Lola Mitchell, Boo has been rapping professionally since the age of fifteen.
Widely known for kind and welcoming persona as she was known for music, the artist’s death was met with an outpouring of emotion.
Fellow group members Juicy J and DJ Paul posted tributes on social media with supportive comments from many of today’s best known acts including Ludacris, Bun B, Outkast’s Big Boi, and Ty Dolla $ign.
Gangsta Boo celebrated all of accomplishments for 2022 the night prior (New Year’s Eve) with a video post on Instagram
While there has been no official word, sources close to the rapper have allegedly disclose that her death was likely due to a drug overdose.
