Hulu Celebrates 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop with The Defiant Ones

Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Hip Hop, Hulu now offers “The Defiant Ones,” a captivating film rooted in the true narrative of music icons Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

Directed by Allen Hughes, known for his work on “Dear Mama,” “Menace II Society,” and “Dead Presidents,” the film delves into the remarkable and unshakable alliance of trust and friendship between Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.

These two individuals, hailing from contrasting backgrounds, have significantly influenced many of the most thrilling and extraordinary moments in recent pop culture.

In addition to marking this significant milestone, Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre are deeply committed to their engagement with the USC Iovine Young Academy and their plans to expand this initiative to public high schools.
