Isaiah Rashad is Taking “Lil Sunny’s Awful Road Trip” Around the World

The acclaimed rapper, songwriter, and Top Dawg Entertainment artist announced Tuesday the second leg of his world tour, adding dates across South Africa, North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

The newly announced run will include Rashad’s first performances in South Africa, along with his first headlining concerts in Australia and New Zealand.

Rashad is currently touring North America in support of his third studio album, “It’s Been Awful.” The first leg will lead into The Anniversary Show on Sept. 29 at YouTube Theater in Inglewood, California. The concert will celebrate all four projects released during Rashad’s career.

Leg Two will also mark the 10th anniversary of “The Sun’s Tirade,” Rashad’s platinum-certified 2016 album. The project includes “Wat’s Wrong,” his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, and helped expand Rashad’s audience following the release of his debut project, “Cilvia Demo.”

The second leg begins Oct. 3 in Cape Town, South Africa, before moving to Johannesburg on Oct. 4. Rashad will return to North America in November for shows in cities including Portland, Seattle, Oakland, Sacramento, San Diego, San Antonio, and Birmingham.

The North American schedule also includes a Nov. 25 hometown performance at The Signal in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Rashad will begin the European and U.K. portion of the tour Jan. 10 in Dublin. Stops include Manchester, London, Bristol, Amsterdam, Brussels, Milan, Paris, Zurich, Berlin, Cologne, and Warsaw.

The final stretch begins Feb. 23 in Honolulu before continuing to Wellington, New Zealand, and Australia, where Rashad will headline concerts in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth.

The tour also includes festival appearances at In The City in South Africa and Camp Flog Gnaw in Los Angeles.

An artist presale begins Thursday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. local time. General ticket sales begin Friday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. local time.

VIP packages will also be offered, with select options including meet-and-greets, photos with Rashad, a pre-show question-and-answer session, early entry, and priority floor access.
