Lebron & Giannis Lead in Third Fan Returns of NBA All-Star Voting

NBA All-Star Voting

We’re just a week away from the reveal of this year’s NBA All-Star starters and the two team captains – which all goes down on January 26th on TNT (7PM ET)!

Today, the third fan returns of the NBA All-Star Voting, presented by AT&T, shows LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo lead their respective conferences. In a surprising turn, Giannis moved ahead of Brooklyn Nets forward, Kevin Durant by a whopping 134,014 votes. Boston Celtics forward, Jayson Tatum has also extended his lead over the Philadelphia Sixers’ big man, Joel Embiid with 203,379 votes – putting him in third place among East frontcourt players. Brooklyn Nets’ Kyrie Irving leads the East guards but not too far behind is Cleveland Cavaliers’ Donovan Mitchell – only 116,808 votes separate these two.

Over in the Western Conference, LeBron James, Denver Nuggets’, Nikola Jokić, and Lakers forward, Anthony Davis hold the top three frontcourt spots. At guard, Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry tops the position and is 246,167 votes ahead of No. 2, Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks.

As you all know, fans count for 50% of the vote to determine the starters for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game. Current NBA players and a media panel account for an additional 25% each.

Presented by AT&T, the NBA All-Star Voting concludes on Saturday, Jan. 21st just before midnight ET. And tomorrow, Jan. 20 is the FINAL “3-for-1” Day for fans to cast their votes
