We TV has announced the return of its popular reality series Life After Lockup, set to premiere Friday, August 1, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The new season will feature 10 extended 90-minute episodes, airing weekly on We TV and streaming on ALLBLK and AMC+.
The series follows seven couples, each navigating life and love after incarceration. Returning from Love After Lockup and Love During Lockup, the couples face challenges including parole restrictions, addiction recovery, family dynamics, and the ongoing struggle to build stable lives outside of prison.
Among this season’s stories, Brooke and JK from Aquilla, Texas, confront trust issues and an unexpected pregnancy after JK’s recent visit with his ex. Will and Courtnee, who married shortly after her release, deal with separation across state lines as Courtnee returns to jail in Oregon. In Davenport, Iowa, LaTisha and Keith finally experience life together outside prison walls but face mounting legal and family pressures.
Troy and Zeruiah from Syracuse, New York, appear to have settled into married life, but tension with Troy’s family and the complexities of co-parenting his daughter with an ex threaten their stability. In Lubbock, Texas, Quiana and Damodrick attempt to rebuild their relationship despite interference from Damodrick’s former partner, Jawalia.
Bianca and Daniel from Scottsdale, Arizona, battle old patterns and question their future as Daniel’s sobriety is tested. Meanwhile, Justine and Michael in Las Vegas prepare for a new wedding celebration after weathering a high-risk pregnancy. Financial strain may complicate Justine’s hopes for the ceremony she envisions.
Produced by Sharp Entertainment, part of Sony Pictures Television, the series is led by executive producers Matt Sharp, Dan Adler, Sophie Mallam, and Alan Madison. Angela Molloy, senior vice president of development and original production, and Lisa Marie Angelo, director of development and original production, executive produce for We TV.
Life After Lockup continues to explore the personal battles and complex relationships that unfold after prison life ends, asking whether love can truly survive on the outside.
